Turkish Apple Tea

Tea is one of the most popular beverages amongst the Turkish people, They sip this drink throughout the day, and you will too after trying this warming Turkish apple tea.

During my visit to Turkey (Istanbul), I was amazed to see the tiny tea cafes spread across the whole city.

Serving and drinking tea in turkey is best enjoyed with friends and family and considered a token of friendship and love.

There are numerous health benefits of drinking tea as the amino acids in the black tea help in boosting concentration, lowering stress, and relaxing your mind and body.

After sipping on this heartwarming Turkish apple tea, I have fallen in love with it.

Ingredients

1. 01 cup apple dried or fresh (chopped into thin pieces)

2. 01 piece cinnamon stick

3. 02 whole cloves

4. 04 cups of water

5. 2 black tea bags or 1tbsp black tea leaves.

5. 01 tbsp honey

How to Make Turkish Tea

1. Firstly, boil 04 cups of fresh water in a saucepan on medium heat.

2. Next, add 1 cup of thin-sliced fresh apples or dried apples, one piece of cinnamon stick, 2 whole cloves, and simmer for 10 minutes until the apples are soft.

3. Then, after 10 minutes. Add two black tea bags or 1tbsp black tea leaves and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.

4. Lastly, Add honey, strain, and serve it in a glass mug.

  • 1 cup apple (thinly sliced) fresh or dried
  • 1 piece cinnamon stick
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 4 cup water
  • 2 tea bags or 1 tbsp tea leaves
  • 1 tbsp honey

  • Boil 4 cups of fresh water in a saucepan on medium heat.

Chef’s Note
