This healthy chicken soup is made with chicken bones, onion, tomato, green chilly, and some mild Indian spices. You may add or subtract veggies according to your taste and preference.

Chicken soup was a part of my recovery from cold and cough during my childhood, it helps to hydrate the body and provides essential heat and nutrients during the cold winter days.

It also has a good amount of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids to support your immune system and help you recover from illness.

To make a delicious chicken soup make sure you add more bones, as it’s the bones that give the maximum flavor and taste.

Directions to make Chicken Soup Recipe

1. Firstly, take 250 grams of cleaned chicken in a pressure cooker, instant pot, or a pan.

2. Next, add one sliced onion, one sliced tomato, and one green chilly.

3. Then, add 2 tbsp coriander leaves, 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp black pepper powder, and 1 tsp salt.

4. Add 02 cups of water to the pressure cooker and cook for 02-03 whistles.

For chicken Soup Tempering

1. Heat a pan with 1 tbsp olive oil or your choice of oil.

2. Add one bay leaf, 02 cloves, 1/2 sliced onion, and 02 tbsp coriander leaves and saute for a minute.

3. Then, add the cooked chicken stock to the pan, taste it, and add more salt and water if needed. Then let the soup simmer for 2 -3 minutes.

4. Switch off the flame and serve it hot.

Ingredients
  

  • 250 gms chicken with bone
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1 green chilly cut into half
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 02 cups water

For chicken Soup Tempering

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 cloves
  • sliced onion
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves

Instructions

  • Add 02 cups of water to the pressure cooker and cook for 02-03 whistles.
