My berry blast smoothie mixes assorted berries like raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries, along with yogurt, orange juice, and sweetener.

It can be served as a quick breakfast or a snack or can be made a little thick to make a super berry Acai Bowl.

Berries are rich in antioxidants and vitamin C and are one of the healthiest foods. They help in reducing the oxidative stress in our bodies.

Berries are also extremely low in calories and high in fiber which makes them great for the weight watchers.

They contain skin-enhancing vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that promote glowing and blemish-free skin.

Ingredients & Variations

Mixed Berries– I have used a mix of assorted berries like raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries. I prefer using frozen berries. However, you may use them fresh or frozen according to your needs.

Yogurt: This smoothie uses Greek yogurt. However, to make it vegan, you can go for coconut yogurt, soy yogurt, or cashew yogurt. Feel free to use plain yogurt if you have no special dietary requirements.

Orange juice: I add this to thin my smoothie and add a tangy, refreshing taste. You may replace it with coconut water or almond milk.

Sweetener: I have used a little bit of honey to sweeten it. You may add or subtract the sweetener as per your taste.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mixed berries fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey or any sweetener
  • 1 -1/2 cup orange juice

Instructions
 

  • Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend it well.
  • Pour and serve it fresh.(You may garnish with some berries and mint leaves)
